“Victory” Conference in Warsaw in Poland, June 2009

The conference and even the pastor Zion Okuneye's church is really the Victory of Kingdom of God in Poland. God is good. He has planted this Pillar of Truth in the center of Warsaw so that His Glory could be revealed through church so that it could destroy every religious fortress in Poland.

Our pastor Festus Nsoha was invited to this conference as a speaker. The Word that God has sent through him was mighty and sharp as always. It was sent to deliver, encourage and build the body of Christ. “For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.” (Romans 8:19). Pastor laid his hands on sick and many were healed and delivered. The anointing that is on our pastor was received with great esteem, respect and in God's fear at the conference as well as at a meeting of pastors from the whole Poland.

I am so thankful to God that we could be close to him. All glory belongs to our God.

The whole journey to Poland was a miracle for me! When pastor announced that he was going to this conference, in that time God put in my heart a desire to join him as a praying team somewhere in the back row. Me and sister Mary started to pray and plan the night journey by train on Friday and way home on Sunday night so that we could be on time at work the following day. It was a big blessing that we could finally go by car together with sister Ivana, brother Salvador and Vladimir! Since we got in the car, during the whole stay in Poland we could enjoy His rest and His presence.

We arrived to Warsaw at night, we lodged at sister Marsha's place, who received us with opened arms and with love of Jesus Christ. We had never seen each other before, we spoke different languages, each of us was from a different corner of the world and yet we knew that we arrived home to our sister's family. This is possible only in the Kingdom of God. Right after the arrival, Marsha, as the right worship leader, lined us up so at 2 a.m. we were singing “God is good, I know.” We could enjoy African food as well. We were received with the same love by brothers and sisters in pastor Zion's church. Let God blesses the local part of the body of Christ! I could see “how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! … For there the LORD commanded he blessing - Life forevermore.:” (Psalm 133:1,3)

And I Thank You Lord as well that you have fulfilled the desire of my heart!

Alleluia

Mission to Ukraine

From 17th to 25th August 2009 some of our brothers and sisters joint pastor Festus in a mission trip to Ukraine. The trip was focused on churches we already visited in previous years.
On 19th of August our pastor preached in the New Covenant Church in Uzhorod, on 20th there was joint breakfast with local pastors. On 21st and 22nd there was a big tent crusade in Vinogradiv in cooperation with the church in Vinogradiv which is led by pastor Tatach. This evangelization was called “Jesus – the Hope of Christianity& rdquo;. On Sunday there were two meetings. The morning one was held at a Gypsy Conference in Holmok and the evening one was in a church that one of our brothers, who is currently living in the Czech republic, attends. The whole day of Monday 24th our pastor preached in Mucachevo in the church of pastor Misha Balko.
The mission was successful, meetings had a great attendance and we were glad to see new faces as well as old ones. We deepened our friendship with brethren from local churches and became a part of wonderful work of God.

Mission to Ukraine 2009
This year's trip to Ukraine was for me the most important one.
It was a big blessing for me to come back to places we visited previous years. Last year we had our meeting in the building that was being reconstructed and we had to sit on wooden benches. This time it was different. The building was new and finished. We could rejoice together with local brethren for the work that could be done.
Meetings in Vinogradiv
Next meeting was in Vinogradiv. Last year I had the chance to testify to a young gypsy couple with a baby. I asked one local sister to take care of them and lead them in godly life. I insisted on the importance of their baptism and marriage, so that God could use them. This year I expected great things. Not only could I meet the young Rosa with her sister, but I could hear about their baptism, wedding and new Rodi's job as well. Haleluja!
Next testimony was from the sister that was on a wheelchair 4 years ago. Pastor Festus prophesied to her that she will walk and have a baby (Her diagnose was that it is impossible for her to have a baby). The following year she came really on her own feet and she was expecting a baby. This year she delivered her second baby.
Street crusades were in a tent this year. The message was very important this time. It was about obedience, concentration and uniqueness of the message. Glory to God!
We had joint breakfast and lunch with local pastors as well.
Meeting in Mucachevo
Last meeting was in a gypsy church in Mucachevo. I was excited. At night we arrived to pastor Balko, where we had our dinner, we prayed and then most of the participants returned to Czech.
I would need a lot of pages to describe how great the meeting (that was from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.) was. There were just two short breaks for refreshment.
Way back
In the morning when we passed Hungarian boarders I started to observe the landscape we were passing by. I have never seen something like that in my life. Along the road there were stripes of ripped wheat, ploughed land, and field with sunflowers, corn and forests with strong white poplars. I watched everything and I could not grasp how wonderful everything could be during the summer time. Lord Holy Spirit started to talk to me: “A Fruitful land, the land with seeds, rest, the shelter, the abundance and the riches – all these things I am to you”...then I saw watering machine...”I’ll refresh you in the time of need!!!” For the rest of our journey I could just praise the Lord and the blessings haven't finished till today!
I’m so thankful for the mercy of the Lord that I could get to know HIM. I know that he will always take care of me. And I know that he will take care not only of me, but for each of you who put your trust in HIM. I know that He is my Way, and my Truth and my Life!!! Because this is written in Bible says in John 14:6.
I know that I could see just part of Jesus but I pray for everyone to get to know Him at least as I do, because it is enough to know Him as your PEACE which this world can’t give to you. This is written in Bible in John 14:27

Ukrajina, July 28 - August 3, 2007

Our mission trip to the Ukraine was graced with amazing favor in all aspects. Let me try to share with you a part of what we experienced there and how we saw our Lord moving.
This was our second trip to the Tran Carpathian Ukraine – many brethren who attend the Oasis Church in Prague come from this very region. There are several objectives of our ministry in the Ukraine – building bridges among God’s children regardless of their denomination, making the God given grace in our Ministry available to other churches, encouraging and strengthening of local churches and pastors, and helping them preach Christ in their communities.
We spent our first days in the Ukraine in the town of Mukachevo in the Family of Pastor Michail Balko. We participated in a gipsy conference in nearby town of Svalyava. On Saturday evening pastor Festus preached a very simple and direct message about the woman with the issue of blood who suffered with bleeding for twelve years (Luke 8:40-48). When she heard about Jesus, she believed that her healing was possible. She sneaked to Him through the crowd and quickly and secretly touched the hem of His garment with an immediate result. The bleeding stopped right there and then. It seems that many of us are bleeding out and leaking like a broken pot. We seem not to be able to keep what we receive – grace of God, peace, blessing, healing, and the life itself...the wholes in your hearts can be healed by just one touch of Jesus. When pastor Festus prayed for the sick that day, there came a woman and a young boy – both born deaf-mute. All of us witnessed as their ears opened and their mouths spoke out first words ever! Hallelujah! Many people parted with various addictions, mainly smoking and drinking. Another surprise waited for us in the form of a young couple – Karel and Olena Horvath. We met them last year. In that time Olena had been bound to a wheel-chair for eight months. And she had not been able to conceive a child. Our pastor prayed for her then and told her that the following Sunday she would come to the church service walking. He also prayed for her to get pregnant and have a baby. Exactly one week later the lady stood up from her wheel-chair, came to the church meeting on her own legs by herself. And when we saw her this year – she is pregnant!
I count it amazing to see the positive respond to our Ministry, which we get from local pastors. During our stay in the Ukraine we had a chance to organize in the town of Chust and in Uzhorod two meetings with local pastors and leaders from several churches and towns and to have dinner with them. We knew some of them from last year but we have also seen God forming new friendships and relationships. God opened to us door for ministry there. Besides the churches where pastor Festus ministered last year, he also preached in a Pentecostal church in Uzhorod and even at a regional Adventist youth conference in the city of Vinogradiv with more then eight hundred young people in attendance.
Meanwhile we moved south-east to the town of Korolevo. We spent a blessed evening in a family atmosphere in a local group of the Church of the Living God. We sang in Russian and Ukrainian languages. And sister Tanya even preached there – in the Russian language :-)! But we were mainly focused on the open air outreach in a park in the town of Vinogradiv. We were surprised by the number of people who gathered there. There were new-born babies born to the local church; several people renewed their relationship with the Lord. Ladies hospitalized in a close-by hospital came for prayers from there! The following day was our day of rest – we went for sight-seeing. From a top of a hill there we saw right over to Hungary and Rumania.
And then we traveled more to the east to the town of Tyachivo, where we met our friends from last year. The next day we continued to the town of Rachiv. We were driving right beside the Rumanian border all the way by the Tisa river and then to the north to the mountains there. We even drove next to the geographical center of Europe. There was a crusade in the town of Rachiv, we went to support a newly established sister church of the one in the town of Tisa. The worship team from the church in Taciva sang nice and lively songs. Then myself and Tanya with our Russian language :-). Pastor preached on the new type of life. He said that life is neither about religion, right doctrines, keeping commandment nor even about Christianity. You may be surprised if you hear that Jesus was not a Christian :-) what matters is life. The eternal life, uncreated life. The God-given life. Life that is found only in Jesus. Life that cannot be overcome by death, sickness or Satan. Hallelujah. Several people were saved and delivered from addictions and people were healed. Finally they brought – actually carried in – an old granny. For couple of years she had hard time walking, she had been using a walking stick yet she could not move well. We prayed for her and then pastor Festus asked her to do something she could not do before. She started lifting up her legs a little and then more and more and finally she stood up from the chair and started walking and dancing with our pastor!
Our journey back to Prague was smooth; we even did not spend much time waiting at the border. We believe God is going to bless the fruit of our ministry in the Ukraine and that He will continue to enlarge our work there. We are looking forward the next trip.
