For the sake of you, who may not be religious or even believe in God, or for you, who may just be taking your first steps to believing in Jesus Christ, for you, who read our tract or heard us preach in the streets, I write these explanations.

This is a reaction of pastor Festus to defaming and lying claims of the priest Tomáš Pavelka. These are the comments on individual points of his lampoon.

Foreigner

Jesus Christ appeared to me in a vision in Africa and told me to go to this country as a missionary, in fact then I did not even know where this country was in the world.

So imagine an African young man, who knew no Czech word, couldn't even read the road signs, who is according to the priest infiltrating and controlling Kvítek and CZECH INSTITUTIONS, (in 17 years, which influential institutions have I infiltrated and controlled)?

 

In 1993, possibly September, a man from Dubí invited me to their home and also invited his family and friends. After the meeting a man came up to me, introduced himself, and said; „Which way are you taking back to Prague, could you please take the Louny road? I want some people in Louny to hear what I have heard.“ That was how I came to Louny and met members of Kvítek.

There were possibly about 25 people in that meeting, the youngest must have been about 17-18 years of age. These were the members who were about to go to South Africa, and they were excited to meet an African before their journey. That was the only meeting I had solely with Kvítek members.

When they came back from the South Africa, the leader, and some of these people started to attend our home Bible study in Prague. To make it easier for them, in April 1994, I started coming once a week to Louny for Bible studies.

I spoke only to those who chose to come to our meetings. I never compelled any of Kvítek members to attend our meetings.

 

 

As they read the Bible and began to know the teachings of Jesus Christ, they felt uncomfortable singing the same old choir songs. They decided to sing but Christian songs and music that glorifies Jesus Christ. And that is what they are doing till today - holding Christmas Carols Concerts and Gospel Musical Concerts all over the country.

The transition was and still remains glorious to them till today.

Not so for the leader, who thought his wife will go with him the way of faith. He was wrong. She was not ready. When she left, he sank into depression which had been a part of him before he believed.

Money
The money, the leader gave to our ministry, was given back to him completely more than 13 years ago. To the last penny. Through a lawyer's office. And for your information, I and my family are not paid salary nor do we live of the ministry or church funds in the Czech Republic. Beginning from the fuel in my car to the least of our needs. There are the best and most godly people in our ministry. Our accounting is very well taking care of under a supervision of an independent – secular – tax advisor.

Healing/Medicines

I myself have a personal doctor. I go for a check up at least once a year, I have an opthalmologist and a dentist.

Our three children were all born in the Czech hospitals. They all go for regular check ups as does my wife. I have never told anybody not to see the doctor. In fact, I send people to doctors. We have medical doctors in our churches and ministry; we have nurses and hospital workers who work in Czech hospitals. If you come to our meetings, you will see people wearing eye glasses. If you watch closely you will see that even my translator in the picture, which the priest copied from our website, is wearing eye glasses.

When we pray for people for healing, we send them to their doctors to confirm if the healing happened or not. In fact, many times we go to the hospitals to pray for the sick. And we have seen many blessings of healings.

Comments on criticism of our doctrines

For you out there, you owe yourself a Bible. At least the New Testament.

You don´t have to give an open check to any church, priests, or preachers.

God ´s word is not complicated; you can understand the Bible.

Acts 17, 11

Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.

This is the scale, this is the barometer. Search the Scriptures, not the Internet, to know which church or preacher follows the Bible.

The Bible is the Christian handbook. This is the book Jesus Christ read, inspired, and put His seal on.

This is what is classical and traditional. Anything outside this is man made.

The priest said that we removed things out of what he calls a classical church and present its simplified form.

The Truth is simple; it is his version of classical church, which stole the Bible from the laity and told the common man that only a priest can understand the Bible.

Why is he trying to explain to you our teachings when they are simple?

Our teachings are not complicated; God is not complicated. If you are speaking to your little child, will you use a complicated language?

His version of classical and traditional church actually equals those that have the monopoly on God, those that have God franchise, churches that are too big to fail, too big to be wrong.

They sure need a bail out now. There are crises now.

When the organization, which he belongs to, started, they removed many things that older traditional churches of that time were doing. They did many things different.

So they also presented a simplified form of Christianity and were also called a sect by older institutions of their days.

The struggle of all reformers was to bring Bible back to the church.

To give God´s word it´s rightful place in the church and the life of every believer. Many of them were called heretics and sect leaders and were burned on the stake or fed to lions while priests, and classical and traditional churches laughed and shouted: We are saving the public from sects and heretics.

It is painful that even today such blindness and jealousy still exists.

You may say that they all have the Bible.

To a priest like this the Bible, Jesus Christ, God is not the first thing. THE FIRST and most important thing is their career and their organization. IN FACT his priority is not you knowing the truth, knowing Jesus Christ, receiving him in your life.

If the common man knows the Bible truth, most of these religious empires will collapse. We are attacked because we present the Bible truth which sets people free.

Salvation is not in any man, not in an organization no matter how big, how rich, how influential it may be. Salvation is Only by heart trust in Jesus Christ.

Decide to read the Bible. We are no more in middle ages when there was not much education, when only the priest could read and became like a mediator.

For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus

Priest Pavelka puts on his denaminational eye glasses first and only then he opens the Bible. People like him take from the Bible only what suits them, and what they can use to build their denomination. That is why everybody else is a sect.

This kind of priests coats the truth and makes it complicated, and psychologically hinders people from reading the Bible, mostly The New Testament.

This kind of priests mixes the Bible truth with rituals, dogmas, ideologies, and foolish human reasoning till it has no more power. It is so diluted that it has no more taste or appeal.

This faded form of Christianity fed itself fat out of spiritual ignorance and lack of knowledge of the living word of God.

Today the light is shining all over the world; the light of Jesus Christ who rose from the dead.

People are waking up to the reality that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13, 8)

His form of Christianity has cost Europe and the younger generation their faith in God.

The church presents God like a God who used to be strong and active, used to heal, used to deliver, used to cast out devils, the Jesus of yesterday, the Jesus of history who did wonderful miracles, but today He is doing nothing, so you don’t expect anything today. This is why people look for help in occultism, eastern religions, with occultic healers are everywhere else.

It means that Satan is the only person awake and active today, while God is asleep and in coma and hopefully one day he will wake up from coma and come back to earth. As the church lost the spiritual power, it started pursuing the political and money power. This farář may end up in politics one day.

The practice of casting out demons
Today in our society, there are many Satanists, witches, wizards, occult healers, while the Pavelka’s so called classical churches are living in denial, turning a deaf ear and watching as their church members are being tormented and ruined by the influence of Satan. In fact a priest like this is terrified and scared to death at the very mention of demons.

These empty priests have nothing to offer to a tormented drug addict, to a person hearing strange voices and contemplate suicide. Thank God for a good medical care, but church should be awake and do her part when it comes to satanic influences.

Read this:

Mark 16, 17-18, 20

And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well."

When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them out to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

Luke 10:19
I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.

This bankrupt form of Christianity has given Satanism free reign.

Years ago, a young beautiful woman from Peruc was terribly and violently tormented, breaking window glasses, and attempting to jump from the window. The parents after trying every other option called several priests in the area for help, but they were all scared to death. Finally a priest told the parents to take their daughter to Oasis, that only they can help in this case. That young woman was gloriously freed in the name of Jesus Christ and has been alive and well till today.

Baptism of the Holy Spirit

Read this:

Acts 1: 5-8

For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit."

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

Acts 8: 15-17

When they arrived, they prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit, because the Holy Spirit had not yet come upon any of them; they had simply been baptized into[c] the name of the Lord Jesus. Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.

Acts 10: 44

While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message.

Jesus Christ is filling His people today with the Holy Spirit and power. The power of God is for us today. We are in a desperate hour of human history. Drugs, illicit sex, strange temptation are tearing the hearts and minds of men and women.

Without the power of God the society will sink. Today you need God’s power not occultism.

Healing the sick

Mr. Pavelka was trying to quote the apostle James. Let us read the place, which he was trying to quote
James 5:14-15

Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him and anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer prayed in faith shell save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up and if he hath committed sins, they shall be forgive him.

When this priest prays, he expects nothing; prayer is just for formality. Here the Bible says, that the prayer prayed in faith (persuasion, conviction, confidence, assurance) will, not may, heal the sick.

Pavelka wrote that the oil here means common medical thing – lie.

In the Bible the oil is an emblem and symbol of the Holy Spirit – the anointing, and the presence of the Spirit of God.

For example when David was anointed with oil, the Holy Spirit came on him.

The Bible will save you from priests like this. Kings, priests, prophets were all anointed with oil, which was symbolic - from that moment the Holy Spirit will come on them to help them accomplish their tasks.

I will never forget the story of mama Maria Baladová. Then we held our Most meetings in Luna. One Sunday meeting, I explained to the group this place in the epistle James – about anointing with oil and what it means. This mama had a terminal cancer in her throat. That day I anointed her with oil in the meeting and told her and others: “Now you are marked for a miracle”.

Following Sunday, as I came again for the meeting, this mama was full of joy, she knitted socks with her own hands, it was August. She brought the socks to me, kissing me on my cheeks, saying something to me. But I did not understand what she was saying, so I called my translator. Mama Maria said: “Last Sunday, after the anointing with oil, I went home, and as I was lying in my bed, I fell asleep by 5 pm. Jesus walked into my room wearing a long white robe and sandals touched me on the throat and left and the cancer was gone. She went back to her doctors and they could not find the cancer any more. I have witnessed many miracles of healing.

Influence of our ministry
There is no space and time to write down the wonders of Jesus Christ that I have witnessed and still keep on witnessing - unimaginable miracles. When I came to the Czech Republic in July 1993, the first meeting I preached was in the Harvest Ministry Gospel tent at Jablonec nad Nisou. Before my eyes, after prayer, a lady from Prague with special condition on her feet, wearing special made shoes because her feet were swollen, was healed. The swell dried and disappeared immediately, she could no more wear the shoes on her way home.

Years later, a man met me in Chodov, in the church meeting of pastor Marvan. He said to me: “Are you Festus?” I said: “Yes.” He was sitting with his wife. He said to me: “I don't want to hide this testimony from you anymore.” He said: “I was in your meeting at Jablonec nad Nisou. I was born with one testis, that day, when you prayed, God gave me one more, since then I have two.” I smiled at him and the wife and I said: “Praise the Lord, God sure has a sense of humor.”

In April this year brother Mirek Konstantinovič and his wife came to our meeting in Louny. He is from Žatec. They came with a sister from Podbořany. While I was preaching, she spoke up and said: “Years ago, you prayed for my son and he received miracle on his eyes that shocked the doctors.” I asked her where he was and she said he was out riding bicycle while they were coming.

Brother Mirek's mother-in-law was deaf for 30 years; her ears opened when I prayed for her at Panensky Tynec.

I will never forget the day when I went to visit the then mayor of Slany in his office. As we were talking, he made this statement: “Since you came preaching here, the crime rate reduced. As the Gospel power penetrated the gypsy community, it did what could not be done any other way.”

Another mayor seeing the gracious impact of our work in his city gave me a place to rent for a symbolic price of 1 Kc.

Several times my personal letters were attached to the letter from the city mayor and sent to the office of the former President to revoke people's crime records because by the influence of the gospel of Christ they became law abiding citizens. And their crimes were revoked.

The gospel of Christ has a very important role to play in the conscience of society.

Many drug addicts have been delivered, gamblers, alcoholics - I have witnessed hundreds of smokers freed. Some smoked for over 20 years and are still free for more then 10 years.

All over this country, around Europe, America, Africa, Mexico, Caribbeans I have witnessed the reality of God at work among humans, changing lives and doing wonders.

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Every year I preach to thousands all over the world, some years tens of thousands. The same gospel, the same Jesus, the same results.

Oasis churches have some of the best human beings. Mostly in Prague we have members from dozens of nationalities from different continents. The Pentecostal charismatic movement is the greatest and fastest growing church movement over the world since the days of Apostle Paul, with now over 700 million believers.

And do you know who the leaders of this movement are? People who fought it vigorously like priest Pavelka. Even our bishop used to be one of those. But then God opened their eyes to the full gospel. Don’t just write on the paper what you believe, but what you have received and what you do practice.

In conclusion

Mr. Pavelka!

What a sinful and perverted way to clamor for attention and recognition, exploiting every sentiment and bigotry.

I pray that our heavenly Father will open your eyes like those of Saul of Tarsus. I know that in these last days Satan is trying again to put religious face on his diabolical attacks against the gospel of Christ, to put a hindrance to the genuine faith in God, and to blaspheme the sacred works of the Holy Spirit just as he did in the days of the reformation and protestant movements.

Resist him.
