If you hate being corrected and receiving council then you have the root of rebellion inside of you. Yes, for sure! This will be manifested in lack of your natural authority. Because people would see through it quickly, you cover it, maybe unknowingly, with „overwhelming love and tolerance.“ Yes, you love God and you try to be accepted and loved by all. And because you hate correcting, you do not correct anybody as well. Love of Jesus was and is and will be working in truth and in obedience and in submission to authority. If you do not have the root of obedience and submission inside of you, you are covering it with „love.“ Yes, it is written that the biggest gift is love. However, the true love cannot replace the truth and it cannot hide disobedience. How do you call your God
They can have God as their confessor. They tell Him their troubles, sorrows, problems and fears and on the other hand their desires and needs. God has different names connected with His power and sovereignty but for these people He is a “Give-me” God. Then there are people who would like to help God however they don't want to bother God with their personal requests. For these people the name of the Almighty is “He-that-has-more-important-things-to do” Then there are Christians who have an over-familiar relationship with God. They give Him a name “My bro, my buddy”. For them, God can forgive everything and help every time, can’t He? Another name of God could be “The Law,” because some keep the law ( at least on public) and they preach just the law and condemnation. Grace is an empty word for them.

God’s Kingdom among us
God’s kingdom has its own spiritual dimension where we can enter by being born of the Spirit. John 3;5: "I tell you the truth no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. ”However, the word in Luke 17:21 is true as well: “the Kingdom of God is within you.” Your church or Christian group then is a small visible seed of the Kingdom of God here on Earth. Let us have fear of God and wisdom how to enter and mainly how to even temporarily leave the church or any Christian group. Lord, help us!
We may leave in these ways:
Firstly, we may leave church under the protection of God’s kingdom, when brothers and sisters pray for us and we are covered by their prayers. This is departure according to God’s will and with God’s permission. This is departure of Mr Obedient.
Secondly, we may leave local church as Mr Stubborn who won’t say a word to anybody, because he has his own will (his own Holy Spirit) and he behaves according to his own will. And what about a prayer? He can manage it by himself!
Thirdly, there is the departure of Mr Proud who was so convinced that he could not be wrong. His pride blinded his eyes that he fell for the bait that devil put before him/her and dragged him/her out of the Kingdom of God.
Return of Mr Obedient is full of testimonies about God’s glory and whole heaven and earth rejoice.
Return of Mr Stubborn may have its fruit as well but there is a shade of grief in God’s heart: “My dear son/daughter, you should have depended not just on me but on my Body as well. That means - on my/your church. I wish people in church would help each other and could encourage each other this way. I wish they would always desire to know my will and this is what my will is.” (this is how Jesus himself prayed: “I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one. I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me” – John 17:22, 23)
Return of Mr Proud may be in two ways:
a) Mr Proud returns as Mr Humble, he will repent and he returns as the one who is not worthy to be called son and wants to be the servant. (Bible describes it in the story about Prodigal son – Luke 15:11 - 32) Then the whole heaven and earth rejoice.
b) Or Mr Proud returns as Mr Proud and he will blame and condemn others, he will criticise and rebuke others and he would like to have the son’s position with the same rights as he left them behind. Then the whole heaven and earth mourn. Only hell is rejoicing because it succeeded to implant one of its own among God’s people. This person will be bringing just division and quarrels. ("God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James 4:6-11)
Have wisdom of God and let us distinguish between various types of returns to the Kingdom of God. Let our prayers help so that heaven and earth could rejoice.

My Point of View and Reaction to The Priest Pavelka’s Statemnents.
A) Healing: There is one story of a merciful Samaritan1 and dozens of other stories about miraculous healings2 and deliverances from demons in the bible.3 This Samaritan’s story talks about a priest that didn’t help a wounded person. Maybe this priest was a kind person very busy with church service, people esteemed him because he did good works, but maybe he had to pass the attacked person because he didn’t have the power of God and didn’t believe in it. He believed neither in healing nor in demons. He couldn’t help a smoker, an alcoholic, a drug addict, a person with a wounded body or soul or a sick person. By the anointing with oil the power of God is released and who has it? This despised Samaritan (whom the priest would call a sectarian) - he has it! It is not enough to believe in God’s existence but we need to trust Him and His power! It is a big difference whether I have a bank account and only talk about it and hope to manage to find out my PIN code (when I deserve it by my good behavior) or I have access to my account and draw money from it whenever needed.
B) Giving to God: Giving is the foundation.4 It’s not unlawful to give gifts especially when I want nothing in return. These are foundations for a healthily functioning church. Do not judge nor condemn, forgive and give and it shall be given to you!5 The church should be independent of the state and the state should not depend on the church. Why should people who don’t believe in God pay taxes to secure a priest’s salary and support his church?
C) Father: The word of God is respected in the Oasis Church including the verse: “And do not call anyone on earth 'father,' for you have one Father, and he is in heaven.”6
D) The speech of the pastor and all ministers is firmly based upon the promise: “For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.”7
E) People leaving our church: People that believed in God in our church leave although they received healing or deliverance here. Yes, we cannot manipulate them to stay and it is not our intention anyway. Our door is opened both to come in and to go out. Many people leave because in their eyes a lying priest paid by the state is worth of more respect than an African missionary who speaks the truth! The other people are described by the word: “For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.”8 Many people want to attend a church without being changed. And some churches make this possible.
F) And concerning prosperity: I don’t know anybody who became rich in our church but God is our shepherd and cares faithfully for us: “that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.”9

Choose Your Spiritual Hospital!
God has His own hospitals and funeral houses.
Then God has funeral houses where people also meet Him, they also know Him, but mostly from second hand stories. There too is music and praying people there. A speaker comes to the front and talks about the one, who left. What he was like and what good did he do. (Rules, traditions, ceremonies. Silence, seriousness, cold.) He persuades the audience to try to be like that person was – to be like the departed one!5 But even the speaker himself cannot do it because he has never met God personally. He knows Him only from the Bible and from schools. Jesus suffered such a cruel death by being nailed to the cross for the very reason that we won’t have to force ourselves to be good, righteous and moral people.6 Our own efforts can cause only hypocrisy and pretence.7 Czech funeral houses discourage Czechs from seeking God and entering His hospitals. Because both hospitals and funeral houses are called the same name = churches. And both hospital staff and audience in funeral houses are also called the same = Christians. Even in the time of Jesus speakers from crematoria were fighting against Jesus and his followers. Jesus himself called them Pharisees and scribes!8
But thank God that He gave every believer and unbeliever intellect and ability to choose! Don’t be afraid to come and see! Our spiritual hospital is the Oasis church. It was established thanks to boldness and obedience of a missionary and evangelist, pastor Festus Nsoha. But the church is not his, it belongs to Jesus Christ the same way as thousands of other churches around the world – churches founded and kept by other faithful servants. God will never take away from you something you don’t give him out of your free will.

Resurrection of Jesus Christ - the Sign Even for YOU
And if Christ be not raised (from the dead), your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
I Corinthians 15:17
Some of the greatest statements of Jesus Christ in the New Testament were on the resurrection from the dead. E.g. Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up. (Referring to the temple of his body) (John 2:19)
In the book of John, chapter 11 when standing before the tomb of Lazarus, who had been dead and buried for four days, before He called Lazarus back to life He said: I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me though he were dead, yet shall he live.
Again in the Gospel of Matthew: From that time forth began Jesus to show unto His disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.
(Matthew 20:19)
When the scribes and Pharisees requested a sign from Him (as to authenticate His claims), he said to them: The sign to this sinful generation is the sign of the prophet Jonas. For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly, so shall the Son of Man (Jesus Christ) be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth (grave). (Matthew 12)
The resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead is the greatest event that validates the Christian faith. It proves His divinity and demonstrates that His victory over sin, Satan, and death is final and that He is Lord of lords for ever.
And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the Resurrection from the dead. (Romans 1:4)
To us humans it means a power-shift, hell and death and Satan are no more sovereign, they are dethroned, it means that our slave master Sin has been beheaded. It means that the prison door is shattered, we can crawl out of the domain of the damned and scream HALLELUJAH I am free at last.
Believe in Jesus Christ and you shall be saved.
Happy Easter from pastor Festus Nsoha!
John 3:1-3 Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a member of the Jewish ruling council. He came to Jesus at night and said, "Rabbi, we know you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the miraculous signs you are doing if God were not with him." In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.
Nicodemus was somebody, who was educated, religious, having a right standing with people and with the law of his God the way he knew Him. You do not find many of people of such standing still hungry for reality. Social status and church position sometimes blind people from seeing that there is something more to be looking for. I would commend Nicodemus for coming to Jesus with a question even though it was in the privacy of night.
He was pretty aware that there is something about this Jesus that is from another dimension - that this “rabbi”, how he called him, is actually backed by Heaven itself. Jesus gave this searching man a seemingly irrelevant answer. He was saying something like: To tell you the truth, my friend, you cannot see Heaven, if you are not born again.
You can have a church membership, you can be a person of standing, you can be rich (or you can think that you are poor enough to qualify for Heaven as well), you can be up and you can be low – but if you are not born again, you can forget about Heaven. Jesus said so.
I was born again on September 18th 1993. No, it was not the day when I became Miss Perfect. I still need a lot of help :-). That was the day when I believed and confessed that Jesus is Lord. That was the day when I knew that I was a sinner going to hell in need of help from above. That was the day when I repented of my sins and made Jesus the Lord of my life. It does not matter how you call it, it is not what makes the difference. What matters is the experience and deep assurance that Jesus is your Lord and Savior.
Are you born again? If you are not or you are not sure, please pray something like this:
Almighty God, I acknowledge that I need help. Please forgive my sins and make me your child. Jesus, I confess you as my Lord and Savior. I need you. Amen.
Remember, Jesus loves you and so do we. Feel free to contact us for further help and prayers.

God saves families, not only individuals
Have you ever as a believer met people whom you talked to about Jesus and they understood neither your excitement nor the change, which happened to you? They don’t comprehend neither good things, which God did for you, or your testimony. The worst thing is if these people are your loved ones – your Family. Two things are likely to happen to you. Either you backslide and fall away from the living God because their arguments, threats, reproaches and accusations will prevail or you start fighting for their salvation. I want to encourage you to do the latter. I would like to help you with an illustration from the Bible how God saves families – even your very own.
Joshuach. 2
There was a prostitute in the town of Jericho by the name of Rahab who hid two Hebrew men who had come to spy the city which God had promised to give to them. All citizens were sore afraid because they had heard what kind of wonders and signs were following the Hebrews. They knew that God was with the Israelites and gave them victory in every battle. Soldiers of the city came out to kill the spies. Rahab however stood by the side of God’s people, hid the Israelites in her house, and sent the soldiers away. She risked all that she had. Both her life and lives of her loved ones were at stake. She spoke to the spies begging them to promise her that once they will enter the city she will be saved together with all of her Family (brothers, sisters, parents and everything that was theirs).
Now then, please swear to me by the LORD that you will show kindness to my family, because I have shown kindness to you. Give me a sure sign 13 that you will spare the lives of my father and mother, my brothers and sisters, and all who belong to them, and that you will save us from death. (Joshuach 2,12-13)
Out of the whole Family only Rahab believed that God is with the Israelites coming to judge their city and its people. However she did not ask for her life only but also for the lives of her loved ones. When Israeli soldiers entered Jericho, the whole Family was saved. Through faith of a prostitute who believed that the Almighty is with Israel. She was not a rich and noble madam. Rahab was a prostitute, sinner, and outcast. Why should anybody rescue her life? God saved her and her whole house. Rahab took an oath to place a red thread in her window as a sign for the soldiers that people in this house must stay alive. If there was no thread or if somebody left the house, the Israelites would have a right to kill the person.
There is a covenant today by which you can save your life and the lives of your loved ones. It is the Covenant in the Blood of Jesus Christ. If you already entered this Covenant and you do not willfully break it by disobedience, then believe that you have a promise that your family will be saved.
You may say: but this is an Old Testament story. Let’s see then what the New Testament has to say.
Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved--you and your household.“ (Acts 16,31)
Believe that God is interested in your Family. They may despise you today and mock you. But you stand on the Word of God that says that you and your house will be saved. Sow the Word, speak it to your Family and believe that whatever God promised He will do. Fight for them and do not be afraid to side with the people of God.
I am looking forward to hear your testimony!

Prophetic word given to brother Milos in June 2008
2 a 3 ep. of John
I rejoice greatly that some of your sons begin to walk in truth, in love, i. e. in love which the world cannot give, in love which God gave to the world as a gift. Love which is merciful, working, moving, not counting offences, love which is not arrogant, love transcending human understanding. Love which is growing strong and spreading. This is the only love you can reach the world with. Many times love is lonely, trampled, spat upon, stoned...In the last days I will show love upon my sons and daughters and I will accomplish what I sent them to the world for. My beloved sheep and lambs in the midst of wolfs. They were not afraid, they are not afraid and they will not be afraid of wolfs because they know that they have their sheep pen where I and my Father dwell. Therefore if there be any encouragement of love, encourage each other always! I have chosen you so minister to one another life (love) which I have given you. Freely you have received, freely you give. Love (life) was poured into your spirits when you were born again, therefore lift up your heads and start living as those who are living among the dead. I will come to judge insensitive, rude and those who are scattering the flock. My work is glorious and I will glorify the life of Christ in you. They shall know you by that!! Enter the freedom of the Kingdom of God and rule and reign through love, through the life which was given unto you.
I am the life.
WHY SEEK THE LIVING AMONG THE DEAD?
On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, "Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen! (Luke 24:1-6)
The Christian God was crucified by human hands on the cross of Calvary. By human hands He was laid into a tomb and after three days He rose from the dead by Himself - no more to die.
When humans came back to the grave after three days to look for the buried God of Christianity, they found that He was not lying where they had laid Him. Angels said, why seek the living among the dead? He is not here, He is risen.
Many people today have buried God and to them He doesn’t exist. To them He has no place in their lives, no place in their consciousness, no place in history.
In the Old Testament times during the days of the patriarchs of the Jewish nation, God was kept in a very inner chamber of the Temple, isolated and visited only once a year by the High Priest with the blood of a sacrifice. Why was that? It was because of sin, the tragedy of human alliance with Satan. But on the Good Friday, the very moment that Jesus of Nazareth was crucified and died, God broke through the inner chamber of the temple, tore the thickest curtains ever made and came out.
Where have you kept God?
Protocols are good, but sometimes protocols can be a bondage to dignitaries and those in authority. The biggest desire of the great and wealthy, presidents, prime ministers, dignitaries, and super stars is just to be human, not a slave to protocols.
Religion has ordered a very terrible protocol for God that is who to see, who to bless, who to heal, when to heal. In fact religious protocols have told God that it is no more civilized to heal or to do miracles. Religion has structured God that He is no more God, but philosophy, psychology, dogmas and doctrines.
God of Christianity has been buried again. This time in the grave of human philosophy and religious rituals but listen, he is breaking through those protocols; He is coming out of those graves. Today He is making Himself known to many in wonderful ways all over the world. I can almost hear the angels say, Why seek the living among the dead? He is not here, He is risen, come and see the grave is empty.
Sinners and unbelievers all over the world take comfort that God is dead, that we humans are in charge of the planet, we do what we want. God is dead, there is no creator. There is no intelligence behind creation; they have buried God in the grave of their minds. What a suicide!
But now the light is shinning, there is glory coming out of the grave, there are angelic voices singing, O earth, behold your God, O man, receive and honor your maker. Awake! Awake! See the light, and let Jesus Christ come to your heart.
He is alive. He is risen. This is Easter.
Never equate Jesus Christ, the Messiah, with the dead gods of the world religions.
Do not look for Him among the dead; don’t number Him with all the human fabricated religions.
You may be surprised to know that some of the religions of the world have their origin in race, politics and Satanism. No man ever said, I am the resurrection and the life. No man ever said. I am the beginning and the end, I have the keys of hell and death, all power in Heaven and Earth is in my hand, except Jesus Christ, the Messiah.
Celebrate with us the glory of the Risen Lord.
KNOW YOUR ENEMY / SIN
If you are asked who or what is your greatest enemy, what would you possibly answer? You may say that it is your neighbor or that man, this woman, or this sickness or poverty etc. For many also their greatest enemy is themselves, a habit, a memory of a bad incident.
Many people are very great fighters; they do not tolerate any enemy. They fight fiercely against any opposition.
May I through this article draw your attention to the worst enemy of your life?
The enemy within.
The welcomed enemy.
The tolerated destroyer.
Wrong diagnosis in the lab causes doctors to give wrong prescription for wrong disease while the unnoticed disease is silently but slowly sucking away the life.
There is an enemy many do not care to know or to face.
There is a disease that cannot be detected by any human medical equipment; which no politicians, religion, science etc. has solution for. Every human was born with it. This includes you.
A person can spend all his life trying to solve the wrong problem! What a frustration! Humans have explored the galaxies, dug through the Earth surface, known what is in the depth of the seas, explored the animal world etc., but one mystery remains. What is the fundamental human problem? Why are we like this? Why cannot man live at peace with his fellow man?
The enemy within is SIN!
What is sin? It is a principle - a law within the human heart. An inherent force of evil, based upon rebellion and selfishness. This is the evil poison within that has turned the world into a field of massacre and perversion. It is the mother of divorce, enmity, perversion and all wars.
The cure - a new heart, a new life - a new spirit - the source - Jesus Christ - the Messiah. If the evil nature remains in you till you physically die, then your immortal soul descends to the domain of the damned!! Hell.
Whisper Jesus - Jesus - Save me now. Give me a new heart!!
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. (Ezekiel 36:26)
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (John 3:3)
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. (John 3:5)
„I am successful, powerful, handsome, happy.“
May you have a wonderful day. I would like to submit a couple of thoughts to your thinking. I have watched quite a crazy American comedy recently. It has helped me to realize how much up-to-date and alive are the Bible stories for our lives today. A young successful American (by the name of Evan) was elected to the Congress. All of his dreams came true. He had a wife, three sons, a huge house, riches, and glory. I named this article by his everyday slogan.
You may feel that you do not lack anything in your life. You are doing your best to live according to your conscience. You feel that you don’t need God at all.
Evan’s plans and ambitions changed suddenly. God told him that He wants him to build an Arch like that of Noah because soon a flood would come. You may say: Well, what do you want, this is an American comedy. But was not Noah’s situation quite absurd as well? You can be sure that our congressman did not want to believe anything like that. He did not even want to consider a thought that God would want something like this from him. Was it not yesterday that he thought that there is no God anyway? He had to decide to change his values and plans, to confess God openly and be ready to obey him regardless of the risk of loosing reputation, favor, friends and carrier. Little bit hard, isn’t it?
God loves everybody and He has a personal plan for each and every one of us. And this plan is not about general principles of moral life. If people try to be good by themselves they do not give God glory, they build their own pride instead saying: I am quite a good person, you see, I am doing my best all the time. (A similar story can be found in the Gospel of Mark, chapter 10, verses 17-22).
The movie I am talking about reminded me what kind of time we are living in right now. Life in the days of Noah resembles our present time a lot. The prophecy of the second coming of Christ, which is clearly described in many places of the Bible (e.g. Gospel of Luke, chapter 9, verse 26), seems as probable to many people as a flood in the wilderness. Talking of judgment, heaven and hell...people are not interested in such things. They say: I am an atheist.

Are we going to be ashamed of the Bible message because it is not popular or are we going to try our best to rescue as many people as possible till we have the time?
Sometimes it is not easy to obey God. Very often His purposes are so far away from ours and they are compelling us to leave our comfort zone. Yet the plan of God is the best thing for our lives and it fits us the best (Romans, chapter 12, verses 1-2). Life with God is what truly satisfies us.
"Jesus said: I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty." Gospel of John, chapter 6, verse 35
All of us can have hope in Christ and a chance to return to God. I have known that it is worth any sacrifice.

Our choices
"But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her." Luke 10:42
"This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live." Deuteronomy 30,19
The statement above was made by Christ when He observed how two individuals can make choices based on what they value as important to them. Yes, every one of us is faced with the same challenge daily. Our choices can be wise or bad. Surprisingly even God never imposes His will on us. We are left with the power to make our choices to serve Him.
Moses cried to the children of Israel to choose between life and death, blessings and curses.
Joshua declared to the children of Israel, that he and his household had made their choice to serve the Lord, he called on them to make their choice also.
Elijah, the prophet of God, made his choice to worship the living God in the face of 450 prophets of Baal on the Mount Carmel.
The young woman Ruth chose to follow her mother-in-law Naomi and serve her God instead of returning to her heathenish culture. It was not an easy move but her choice to serve the living God paid off for her good.
Today, we have a great advantage because the Lord has given us the Holy Spirit who can help us make choices based on the word of God. The Lord is asking us today, son, and daughter:
Will you choose my presence or pleasures of sin?
Will you be a bold witness for me or be ashamed to preach the gospel,
Will you choose to walk in obedience or be disobedient to my word?
Will you choose to walk in forgiveness or be a bitter person?
Will you choose to honor me with your life or seek for the praise of men?
The list can go on but remember just like Mary, Moses, Elijah, Joshua, Ruth and so many others made the wise choice to serve the Lord, you and I can do the same with the help of the Holy Spirit. Thank God that Jesus walked where we walk, He understands our human nature and He sent the Holy Spirit to help us.
As for me and my household we will serve the Lord. Will you?
You as a child of God may be staggering and trying to give up on what you believed. I encourage you today to know that with the help of the Holy Spirit you can stand up in the midst of any difficulty in life. Serving the Lord is a wise choice. Blessing and abundant life are the rewards. Keep on serving the Lord because He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.
But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD." Joshua 24,15
"But Ruth replied, "Don't urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God." Ruth 1,16
"Elijah went before the people and said, "How long will you waver between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow him; but if Baal is God, follow him." But the people said nothing." I Kings 18:21

Someone is watching us
"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6
God sees everything you do, everything you say, and everything you think or imagine. And do you know who else has this kind of a special ability? Guess who... Our kids do! Their observation is very detailed and their memory is very good. Sometimes they can almost „read your mind“ :). If you are a parent, you will surely confirm what I am saying. Let me just encourage some of you who do your best to be an example of a godly man or woman to your child. Let me assure you that your labor is not in vain. If we live our lives before our kids in the way that is pleasing to God, one day we will reap fruits.

My role model
My Dad stands as a role model for me. I try to be like him because he is a good and calm man, he knows what to do in any situation and he behaves as a friend to me. He does not argue with my Mum a lot and when I and my brother have a conflict he is not partial. He doesn’t like long shopping and he never uses bad language. He is interested in physics, chemistry, mathematics and anything about electricity. He won a nationwide competition in chemistry and he understands computers a lot. He believes in God and he prays for me every day. He is fond of telling jokes.

I would love to live the „healthy and fit“life full of energy and strength that we are expected to live. I am not talking about spiritual aspect of this issue. I am now talking about the sometimes „harder“stuff of healthy eating and exercise. If you are a person like me you may feel overwhelmed by the list of does and don’ts that this healthy lifestyle includes. Do not eat white bread and white sugar and do not eat all-my-favorite-foods, eat plenty of vegetables and fruits and whole-grain stuff and so on. Regular exercise and fitness activities – a must for all of us. Well...If you are like me, you wish you could but...how do you start.
I read a very inspiring article by Marthy Copeland concerning these issues. Something caught my attention there. Just as I am saying – sometimes if you look at the list of things to absolutely run away from, you may not feel bold enough to start. But Marthy suggests one very important thing. Add the good stuff one piece at a time. One or two added portions of veggies a day, few more glasses of water, apple or two, walking the stairs instead of using lift... For me this is absolutely life changing.
But more then in the area of food and exercise I found this principle important in our spiritual walk. There are many children of God who know what they are supposed to do. They are so impressed by what others are experiencing in Christ. I am talking about long prayer time, life of fasting, witnessing for Jesus on everyday basis, regular studying of the Bible etc. You know what I am talking about. Your pastor is challenging you every Sunday to go higher, deeper, and faster :-) and you know very well that you should improve. But sometimes the list of things to do and the list of things to avoid seem to be so long. There are many people of God who love the Lord yet they are still struggling with some habits they cannot be proud of. Or – and this is another case – you may be a truly busy person – a mother raising three small children, man running his own small business all by himself... There are so many things to do and such a short time to do them.
Try the principle of adding a piece of the good stuff at a time. You may not be able to start praying for two hours a day. Start with 15 minutes. Instead you leave home to work or school or kitchen :-) just like that – pray for five minutes – I am not making any law here. I am just saying – go ahead and start! Add a little prayer – one at a time. Add a little Bible reading which you will concentrate in. Add a half-day fast which you will know that it is for the Lord. Give a tract – no words, just smile... You may add some Jesus loves you later. God is not a God of things we cannot do. God is a God with whom all things are possible. It is possible for you to spend time in prayer. It is possible for you to fast and read the Word of God. It is possible.
Just add a little bit of the good stuff at a time. I am persuaded that adding the good stuff will definitely push back lot of the unnecessary or even the bad stuff. Gradually you will find yourself changed – one step at a time. It’s worth it. In a short time you will look back saying Thank God, I did it.
So? What are we going to do today? We will add some good stuff.

When are we going to get there?
He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming soon." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. Revelation 22:20
I am certain that every parent knows this nagging question. You are in the car, you barely left home and your child starts asking „when shall we get there? “...Blessed are the parents who know how to answer this question and satisfy their children. We have never ever succeeded before. I think our daughter has made a quality decision :-) to ask this question any time we pass by a mile post.
Nevertheless I have noticed that the girl asks us only if she is excited and looking forward to the place where we are going. Maybe because she knows something or somebody is waiting for her there and she cannot wait to get there.
It is wonderful to be able to look forward to something. Children know how to do that. Some adults too but they are more pragmatic and disciplined about it. But children are able to get excited and get crazy about it. Children are loud when they are looking forward to something. They do it in a way which irritates us – conservative adults.
Are you looking forward to Jesus? Are you looking forward to see Him? Not many people are looking forward to Him because not many do know Him. Not many are looking forward to Him because they do not have a clue what kind of a person He could be. Some are not looking forward to Him because they know that the way they live their lives cannot please Him. When did you say last: „come quickly, Lord Jesus“? If you claim you know Him, why don’t you get excited to be soon able to see the face of Him who is “altogether lovely, altogether worthy, altogether wonderful to you” :-) Think about it.
Let us stir this feeling of looking forward to Jesus within us once more. Let us look forward to Him who loved us and gave Himself for us.
Come quickly, Lord Jesus!

Walking with God
I have discovered an amazing thing in the Scriptures recently. It is found in Genesis 5:24:
"Enoch walked with God; then he was no more, because God took him away."
I am sure that you wonder at „what kind of a new discovery is that“? Did she not know it? Sure I did! How many times did I hear about Enoch who walked with God and was taken by God not experiencing death? It may sound funny and I may look as a Bible illiterate :-) but have you noticed that Enoch walked with God for three hundred and sixty five years? And the man had sons and daughters?
You see, I am a mother of two little girls. Sometimes my head is spinning and I don’t know if I am to cry or to laugh. My girls are early risers and for the exception of one hour nap (and why in the world do they take it in different times?) the house is full of them till late in the evening. But Enoch walked with God and he had many sons and daughters. You may say that the time was different then. Sure it was. But the God of the time is the same yesterday, today and forever. And I – the mother of just two – can walk with him today.
I realize that walking with God is not about me doing „the right things“ and „abstain from doing the wrong ones“. We may not be able to keep all the rules all the time as we wish. But have been privileged with the „never leaving-never forsaking“presence of God in our lives in the Person of the Holy Spirit.
Enoch was not born-again. I am.
Enoch did not have the Holy Spirit of God dwelling in him. I do.
Enoch did not see death. And I won’t either!
Hallelujah! Today is my day to walk with God!

High price for acceptance
"Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To the saints in Ephesus, the faithful in Christ Jesus: Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will — to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves." Ephesians 1:1-6
In the world today people are willing to pay a high price to be accepted by others. Because rejection hurts badly and causes great pain, men and women are ready to do things far beyond their convictions and push the boundaries to make sure that those around them will not despise them or look down on them.
Thus young boys are ready to smoke and drink early not to be laughed at. Young girls are ready to show more of their body then it used to be called decent in the past not to be ostracized. People will rather go with the flow then to suffer grieve of rejection. Yet, rejection does come and it is even more painful and leaves deeper scars when those who repelled you are those whom you set your hopes in and especially when you think you did nothing wrong.
Can the wound be ever healed? I know it can. And though the balm is costly, you can have it free of charge, no payment required. When people scorned Christ on the cross, when they mocked Him and called curses on Him, when His closest friends rejected Him and when even He cried: My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? – He was paying price for you and me to be accepted. He was rejected so that you and I can be accepted. Look up. God has accepted you in Christ. You may have failed yourself and others before but now, if you believe Him, He is ready to take you just as you are. He will fill you with His love and you will know beyond every doubt Yes, I am accepted.
Dare to believe that what matters is that the great God wants you, accepts you and receives you into His arms. What matters is that the Creator of Universe is pleased with you if you are in Christ.
Do not despise His suffering by ignoring the price He paid. Now He is your glory and the lifter of your head!
"But you are a shield around me, O LORD; you bestow glory on me and lift up my head.“ Psalm 3

Knowing yourself
Do you know who you are? The issue of identity troubles many people and unfortunately many Christians too. There are many lovely, kind, and sincere-hearted Christians who love the Lord with all their hearts and yet they do not experience desired victories. They suffer defeat in many aspects of their lives. Why is this so?
„Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation?“ Hebrews 2:1, 3
If you are born-again, knowing God does not suffice for you to be able to rise up in God-given dominion and exercise your authority over every problem and every issue that concerns you. You must know yourself. You must become acquainted with the new person in Christ Jesus which you became when you gave your life to Jesus. Do not neglect the great Salvation. It made you a new person, legal spiritual being with power and authority in Jesus’ name. It made you an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ Jesus. It seated you in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. In it God blessed you with all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus.
„And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.“ Matthew 28:18-19
In the Garden of Eden God gave Man a command to exercise dominion on this Earth. Man lost it to the devil but gained it back in Jesus Christ. Dominion is yours in Jesus. Do not neglect your mandate. There are those who love God sincerely but they act like the Prodigal Son’s elder brother. Father, I am always with you...I love you with all of my heart...I serve you...I worship you...why is it that I have no good thing? Son, daughter, it is because you have not understood nor claimed nor exercised your birth-rights. So far you have not taken advantage of this great Salvation!
Know yourself in the Word of God. Know your position and your rights in Jesus Christ. Study them well, let them be rooted and established in your heart.
Then – exercise dominion over every power of the enemy! Face your problems with unshakable assurance of an heir of God and joint heir with Jesus Christ! You can do it! You are more then a conqueror in Christ Jesus!

Romans 14:17
For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Passport Control
„Passport control, your passport please. “ You may be acquainted with this situation. Many of you picture a stern-looking officer, dressed in a strange uniform speaking a language we can hardly understand. Yet we try as much as we can to understand the officer because his decision is very important to us. He has the power to decide whether we will travel or not. What if I do not meet certain criteria or what if my visa is not valid or what if I need some special insurance? I myself experienced a situation that I was sent back from the border because of a mistake in my passport. My wife continued traveling but I had to return and put things in order.
However this experience helps me understand what Jesus meant when starting His public ministry He said: „Repent therefore, because the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.“ Matthew 6:17
The coming of the Lord to the earth caused a boarder-crossing to be opened between earthly kingdoms and the Kingdom of Heaven. Isn’t that wonderful? This is by far a greater event then the fall of the Berlin wall or massive migration of Jews into their new state Israel. This is the arms of the Heavenly Father being opened and an invitation to become a citizen of His Kingdom. This is an offer to receive the Holy Ghost and peace, joy, and righteousness in Him. Read Romans 14:17
This is not a fiction. It is reality which has nothing to do with religion.
Jesus’ life here on the earth is described in the four Gospels – Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. They portrait Jesus full of the Holy Spirit, righteousness, peace, and joy. This is exactly what people are looking for in the world. Men and women work hard every day to get it but their labor is in vain because whatever they found is just a counterfeits bringing just a temporary satisfaction. These attributes are reserved only for the Kingdom of Heaven:
„Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. “John 14:27
“I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.” John 15:11
„Since there is only one God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith. “ Romans 3:30
„Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.“ Romans 5:1
What must I do then to have an access into the Kingdom? What must I do to have the door into the Kingdom open and see the strict officer smiling and hear him say: „Come on in, all is perfect.“?
REPENT – repentance opens the door to Heaven.
"The time has come," he said. "The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!" Mark 1:15

Wings of the Dove
Since 1990 I have done a lot of flying to different continents. The first time I flew in an airplane I fell in love with flying, and I knew that flying would be an integral part of my life, and it has been so. Some times I would wish I was in the clouds instead of my office or my home. Time after time we all seek or wish to have an escape from it all.
David was hemmed in by hostilities, from all sides by Philistines and worst of all by his own people headed by his own son Absalom. Enemies were approaching from all sides to kill him. He walked up and down the roof of his palace, seeing them approaching, he wished he had the wings of the Dove, and then he would fly away and be at rest.
Resting place, yes the only resting place is only by the wings of the tender Dove – the Holy Spirit. Do you know rest? Do you know the Holy Spirit?

Psalm 11:3
If the foundation is destroyed, what can the righteous do?
The dragon and the child
It is a male! It is a female!
What a good news, at last the baby is here, the struggle has produced life. Jesus said a woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world. (John 16:21)
The joy and excitement of the birth of a child can be short lived if the child is immediately discovered to be born with a major defect. Is there a recurring defect, sickness or tragedy in your family line?
My advice is „be born again. “
In the book of Revelation 12:1-4, the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered to devour her child as soon as it was born. I have seen this scene repeated over and over during the past 22 years of my encounters with Jesus Christ.
Satan has risen up against the children of our time, to inflict with defects, divorces, single parenting. The world today is full of single parenting, foster homes, child abuses, absentee fathers and mothers, children who have never known the normal family life.
The church today is full of people who do not know or believe in church family. I am talking about spiritual single parenting, where there is no apostle, there is no father figure.
As it is in the natural family, so it is now in the spiritual family also. The spiritual family structure is broken down. Christian TV programme becomes a church for many. This kind of believers who has never had a normal Christian family upbringing feed and feast on all kinds of doctrines. They move from church to church, conference to conference, and group to group trying to enforce their idea of what a church ought to be.
Some went astray at the very gate of salvation. As soon as they were born again, the dragon was there to devour and hurt or destroy their fragile, young faith. A gossip, church split, or older believer who has been longing for a husband or wife, did not give them enough time to come out of the baptism pool, before they engage them in carnal communication. O Lord, save your church. Snatch your bride away.
Into what kind of family are you born? Family means everything to a young child. If your natural family is hell, now you have a good choice, join the family of God.

…for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
A place to hide your precious things.
What are your treasures?
And where have you kept them?
Those things that are most important and dear to your soul, in whose hands have you kept them?
On the cross when the Lord Jesus was crucified, in Luke 23:46, His last words were: Father, into your hands I commend my spirit.
Stephen was the first Christian martyr. His dying words were: Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. (Acts 7:59)
In Matthew 6:19-21 it is written: Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
He that is born of God keepeth himself and the wicked one toucheth him not. Where?
In the hollow of God’s hands.

And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging:
This is how the devil wants to see you – poor, miserable, wretched, always at the same place - no improvement.
And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant. And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by.
People need to hear and know where Jesus is, where He is preached, where He is walking.
Your circumstances and other people will tell you to keep quiet to stop telling them “this stuff”. They will try to silence you.
But he cried so much the more, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.
People are hungry for Jesus.
And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him, Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight. And Jesus said unto him, receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.
Jesus answers when we call, when we pray to Him. He sees our needs and our hunger!
And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God:
First meeting with Jesus is not the last one. Life with Him is a whole-life journey, which brings glory to God.
And all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God.
Then we become a good testimony for those who still sit by the roads begging – inviting them to join our praise.
