Rise Up and Be Healed

Thanks be to God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ who in His abundant mercy has provided for our healing in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ.
About three quarters of the ministry of Jesus Christ were spent on ministering to the sick.
From the book of Matthew to the gospel of John you will see the extent to which He devoted His ministry for the welfare of the sick and afflicted. He started the song and the early apostles followed. Spend time and read the Acts of Apostles. It is just a continuation of the healing and miracle song of Jesus Christ.
In the present day Christianity, and in different nations and different religious circles, people have mixed feelings and attitudes toward divine healing. Some are extremely sceptical so that they attribute divine healing to Satanism.
Dear friend, nothing good or genuine comes from Satan. He is a deceiver and imitator. He likes to imitate the acts of God’s grace for his malicious purposes. He is the author of Sin and sickness, but many people have been entrapped today in occultism seeking for help, being ignorant of God’s healing mercies.
I pray that through this teaching, the light of the Spirit of God will shine deeply in your heart to lead you out of every misty darkness and lift you our of the valley of despair and make you to Just Rise And Be Healed.
There is a Divine Song of Goodness in the epistle of James, I would like you to note:
Do not err, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. (James 1:16-17)
Divine goodness and constancy are whispering to you and me saying, “do not err”, do not be confused, do not make mistake or miss the way. His faithfulness never ceaseth, His mercies never come to an end, they are new every morning, great is the faithfulness of our God.
Healing for all our diseases is a good and perfect gift from our wonderful loving Heavenly Father. In this good and perfect gift, there is no variableness or any shadow of turning. It means there is nothing like NO, or suffer a little before I heal you. No, never. No variableness, there is no exempted case. Constant mercy for all and in all cases and for every person.
I have heard some erroneous statements like God is teaching me something through sickness, or God wants her to suffer, that is why God put sickness on her. Beloved, those statements make angels cry. God sent the Holy Spirit to teach you, not sickness, thank you, Sir! These are erroneous statements against the Goodness and Perfection of God’s gifts.
Make haste and shake the devil off your life before he kills you in ignorance:
My people perish for lack of knowledge. (Hosea 4:6)
In some religious circles folks say that when the Apostles died, healing died. That is the echo of a carnal mind. Such statements are additional whips to the stripes of Jesus Christ.
Take time lest you die on Mount Nebo (Deuteronomy 32:49-51; 34:1-5) for striking the rock twice (Numbers 20:7-13).
Sir, healing rose from the dead. Our healing and health is sure like the fact that Jesus is alive and on the right hand of the throne of God. Jesus is the Healing, the Healer and the Health. He is alive forever more. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Blessed be God, Hallelujah, Amen.
He says, I am the Lord; I change not (Malachi 3:6). I am the Lord that healeth thee (Exodus 15:26).
In the Gospel of John there is a perfect picture of Jesus’ attitude towards the sick and sickness. Follow me to the Corner of the Sheep Market, pass over and come to the Bethesda Pool. Be careful lest you step on sick folks, just tiptoe and be quiet, it is Sabbath, lest you irritate these fault finding Pharisees.
Now here we are with Jesus. Let us watch carefully and see what he will do to this fellow with 38-year chronic ailment laying hopelessly and helplessly by the pool. (John 5:6)
O’ my God, of a sudden I see His countenance change. Can you see the look in His eyes? I mean a deep stirring passionate look of the Compassionate.
What is Jesus saying to this lonely, miserable fellow? O’ I hear Him say to the impotent man: „Will thou be made whole? Do you want to be well?”
Verse 7:
Here the impotent man opens his misery portfolio. How biologically it is logical for him to remain sick. He opens the doctors’ reports. He opens his family history. How his father and mother and grand – grand parents had the same disease. How both Heaven and Earth have contributed to his misery.
Verse 8:
Jesus couldn’t let him finish, I mean, He cut him short and sent His word and healed him: „Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.“
Verse 9:
And immediately the man was made whole and took up his bed, and walked. And on the same day was the Sabbath.
That was the end of thirty-eight years of acute torment and misery, just within a twinkling of an eye; destiny was reconstructed, reshaped and redirected.
What brought the change and blessedness? What? Just the Word of Jesus Christ? Glory in the highest, Amen.
The Word of God is the healer today; the Power of God is coined in His word.
He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction. (Psalm 107:20)
What did God do? Sent His Word. The Word is the Healer; the Word is the Deliverer, Amen, Hallelujah.
My son, pay attention to my words, take time and listen to my words. Let them not depart from your eyes; keep them in your heart. For they are life to those that find them, and health to all their flesh. (Proverbs 4:20-22)
The health giving Word is the Healer and it never changes. Have you found the Word, the healing Word, the delivering Word, or are you busy looking for something else, gazing at the stars?
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made. In Him was life; and the life was the light of men. (John 1:1-4)
Is your heart open? The Word is God, the Word created all things, the Word is life, the Word is the light of men. This is the Word that God sent and healed all your disease.
And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us,... (John 1:14)
The Word was incarnated in the flesh, Immanuel, God with us. Conceived by a virgin. It was fulfilment of the prophecies of the Old Testament. Read Isaiah 7:14, Isaiah 9:6, Luke 1:35.
... and we saw His Glory, the Glory of the Son of God, full of grace and truth. (John 1:14)
Do you want to see His Glory? The Glory of the Word made flesh, the Glory of Immanuel? The Glory of the Son of God, full of grace and truth?
Now let His Glory come over your body and let that cancer be healed, let that disease on your body flee! How can you see and receive the Glory, I mean the healing Glory of the Eeternal Word?
Jesus said unto her, Said I not unto thee, that if thou wouldest believe thou shouldest see the Glory of God? (John 11:40)
This was by the tomb of Lazarus, dead and buried for four days, decomposition was already in progress; but what did Jesus say to the sorrowing – weeping sister of Lazarus?
am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead yet shall he live. And whosoever lives and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? (John 11:25-26)
Listen, you don’t need to die, you don’t need to remain in that situation. The devil is a liar. „I am the Lord that healeth thee. I sent my word and healeth all your diseases,“ saith God Almighty.
Bless the Lord, o’my soul, who forgiveth all thy iniquities; who healeth all thy disease. (Psalm 103:3)
Believest thou this? If you believe you will see the glory of God! Believe it and you will see it. Religious people want to see it before they believe. Sorry, Smart Mama – bishop’s cook, believe it and you see it. Don’t top reading. Keep on. Believe and live, doubt will drown you! That is the Divine order, that is the Word order, that is the Miracle order.
Mary believed it and she saw it. Her brother Lazarus was raised from death after four days in the grave, wrapped with grave clothes, stinking. What did the wonder? The living Word – the healing Word – the quickening Word – the creating Word. The Word that created Heaven and Earth, visible and invisible things. The Word that was made flesh – Jesus Christ the Son of God.
Please, pastor Festus, what should I believe?
Who hath believed our report? And to whom is the arm, the Power, the Glory, the Majesty of the Lord revealed. (Isaiah 53:1)
To them, that believe our report. What is the report?
Surely he has (not will but has) carried or suffered our grieves (i.e., your grieves, put your name in the sentence) and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God and afflicted. But he was wounded for our (your) transgressions, he was bruised for our (your) iniquities; the punishment of our (your) peace was upon him; and with his stripes (wounds, torture, torment, strokes of the barbed cane, i.e., the divine whips on his spirit) we (you) are healed. (Isaiah 53:4-5)
Believest thou this?
Said I not unto thee that if thou wouldest believe thou shouldest see the Glory of God. Do you want to see His glory? God the Father in His great Love wherewith He loved us made His Son Jesus Christ the victim, i.e., the scape-goat, the sacrifice, the propitiation for the Sin of Adam and his descendants.
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord – God the Father has (not will) laid on him the iniquity of us all. Yet it pleased the Lord – God the Father to bruise him; he hath put him to grief. (Isaiah 53:6,10)
He afflicted Him with our afflictions, our misery, our disease, our curses and judgement.
This is what happened on the cross. It was not just the nailing of the roman soldiers, or the arrows, or the thorn crown, or the 39 strokes of the barbed cane – the human, natural torment and torture. No, it transcends that, that couldn’t have made Him die but it was the Father’s spiritual crushing and judgements and curses of the Sin of Humanity. Then He groaned and cried, My Father, My Father, why has thou forsaken me.
Still verse 10: “He made His souls an offering for our sins.” Believest thou this?
Who his own self bore our sin in his own body on the tree (cross) that we being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: By whose strips ye were (past tense) healed. (1. Peter 2:24)
Believest thou this? Did I not say to you that if thou wouldest believe thou shouldest see the Glory of God?
Now in deep repentance, confess your sins to God, tell Him to forgive you. And sincerely forgive everybody.
Jesus rose from the dead: He is alive; He is there where you are. Remember, He went Himself to the impotent man of John 5: He is with you to reveal His arm, His power, His healing Glory.
Believe the report, act to demonstrate that you believe it, don’t try it, know it deep down in your heart. Believe it; know it more than you know that you are sick. More than you believe in sickness. To believe is active, not passive. Put your faith to action and the healing arm is revealed to you.
My personal prayer for you:
„In the name of Jesus, I crush every doubt and unbelief, I crush every pain, I command every demon spirit in your body to leave now. I command healing in the name of Jesus over you whole body, from your head to the sole of your feet. In the name of Jesus Christ, rise up and be healed!"
Amen.
