Oasis church is a pentecostal-charismatic church.

Pentecost means 50. That means 50 days after the resurrection of Jesus Christ, when the event of Pentecost took place. Read Act 1:1-8, Act 2:1-47.

40 days after the Lord Jesus rose from the dead, he ascended physically from the Mount of Olives in the presence of many,     at least 120, people. He commanded the disciples to remain in Jerusalem and 10 days later THE HOLY SPIRIT CAME DOWN FROM HEAVEN UPON THE DISCIPLES.

This event was the beginning of the Christian church.

The believers were filled with the Holy Spirit and power of God and began to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Oasis Church is rooted in and patterned after the same original beginning of the Christian church.

Charismatic simply means the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Serving God and blessing humans with the gifts and graces of the Holy Spirit in the Jesus name.

So we believe:

1.         The Bible is the inspired Word of God and the revealed will of God                                                                                       (2 Tim 3:15-17, 1 Peter 1:23-25, Heb 4:12)

2.         One Godhead of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. All are coeternal (Matt 28:19, 1 John 5:7),                                                   Jesus Christ, God manifested in the flesh (Isaiah 9:6, John 1:1-14)

3.         Man is lost in sin and must be born again through faith in Jesus Christ (Rom 3:23-24, John 3:3,5)

4.         Baptism in water by immersion (Matt 28:19, Acts 2:41)

5.         Celebration of the Lord's Supper (Holy Communion) breaking bread together, which represents the                                         body of the Lord, and drinking of cup, which represents the sacred blood of the Lord (Matt 26:28, 1 Cor 2:24-30)

6.         Baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:4-5, John 7:37-38, Acts 2:4)

7.         The gifts of the Holy Spirit (Marc 16:17-18, 1 Cor 12:1, 4-11)

8.         The church is the body of Christ. Each believer is an integral part (Eph 1:22, 2:1-22, 1 Cor 12:13)

9.         Every believer must belong to a local assembly (Acts 2:41-44, Heb 10:25)

10.       The blessed hope, Jesus is coming again to gather his saints and we shall rule and reign with him                                             (Rom 2:25,27, 2 Thess 1:7, Rev 19:11-16, Rev 20:1-7)

11.       Eternal judgement for those that do not obey the gospel of Christ (Heb 9:27, 2 Peter 2:9, Rev 21:8)
