This time there gathered quite a lot of people in Slany. All of us were excited that after a longer time we could gather and share together joy and God’s presence. Praising time was great this time and prayers lead by Peter Mati were great as well. God was opening our hearts and minds. 
Then we came across very interesting homework. Each youngester should prepare short message concerning God’s names e.g. Adonia, El Shadai etc. Some of them really surprised us with very specific explanation of these names. I personally was blessed during this time. 
And as a bonus we had birthday celebration. Moreover, we had a cake and not only one J. I believe that all of us have enjoyed this meeting and I’m looking forward to the next Youth Meeting. Bye

Hurray! We have had another great meeting of young people from our church! 

At the beginning we enjoyed wonderful presence of God during our praise time. Then, we continued with Daniela and Jessika in prayers. We put on the full armour of God to be able to stand against the devil's temptations.
Our beloved teacher Dita preached about God's calling for us to become priests and kings for Jesus (Revelation 1:4-6, Zecharjah 3: 7,1 Peter 2:9-11)
After a short break we were surprised by our brethren from the north who have prepared nice praises - blessed!
Testimonies of Alina and Jessika persuaded us - Miracles Do Happen!
And finally we were preparing a drama for unbelievers.
This session was Super Duper Blessed!!!

On Saturday, April 27th 2007, we had a greatly blessed youth meeting. We enjoyed praises, messages, testimonies, and prayers. We began the meeting with praises, everybody rejoiced and everybody expressed themselves. We danced and jumped for joy – this all was for our Lord Jesus. After about two wonderful praises brother Peter led us in prayers. Then we enjoyed another dose of God’s blessing as we kept on praising Him. Then brother Honza (age 16) shared with us on Jeremiah 33:3: Call unto me and I will answer you. (This scripture was our motto for the day). After that we heard sister Jessica preach. Whe testified of God’s help. It was a very wonderful testimony. She mentioned couple of New Testament scriptures. 
Then we enjoyed rap by Viktor (age 18), as he performed his own song. Then we had good lunch. 
After that we heard sisters Dita and Margaret, our leaders, preach. Most of the messages were on temptation (about three persons from the Bible who were tempted: Esau, Joseph, and Jesus). 
Finally we watched DVDs with Carman. What a great time! 
We closed with prayers for God’s protection and we thanked the Lord a lot. What a blessed time it was! I cannot wait till next time.

Flowers of blessings

 
On March 3rd we had our fifth and a long expected youth meeting in Slaný. I don’t know anyone who was not looking forward to it. I personally got to like long traveling by train to Slaný. It takes four hours and we change once. Those who are used to going by car might say that this is terrible, but there is something to going by train. We can talk, meet one another, there is no separation. We are just like a family. I like this „train fellowship“and I think that so does God and I believe that He blesses it. 
The theme of the gathering was based on Psalm 84:10 For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. We had a beautiful painting describing this scripture hanging on the wall. This time our speakers were young people from our midst. First speaker – Viktor – emphasized that God is stronger then any problem we may face. We have to draw our strength and courage from God to be able to witness to people. He closed with these words: „Walk with God, this is the only way how to get to the place where God wants us to be.“ Then Olga spoke and she did very well. She spoke about Psalm 84:10-12 saying that the devil imitates God. He spreads a table with tempting delicacies which are poisoned. Then I shared from Psalm 94 which is breath taking. God is with us always and the wicked cannot get by with their wickedness. He sees and He hears. We do not need to worry about bad circumstances and evil people. 
Then we ate curry rise – my favorite dish. After the break brother Salvador preached. I am certain that after his message none of us will forget the name of Samson. Samson (according to the book of Judges, ch. 14) did not manage his weakness toward women. And he paid for it. Beware! The devil is fond of finding our weak places. We have to learn how to face our weaknesses in God’s strength and His wisdom. I cannot fail to mention a hip-hop performance of our youth leader Petr Mati with Vojta Cihlar. His hip-hop song „you and I live in the same neighborhood“got us excited. 
Finally we watched Carman’s DVD. In one of the clips, which I liked the most, Carman sat by a brook with a small water-fall where there were small flowers flowing. The flowers represented blessings which God is sending to us. I believe that one of these flowers, wonderful blessings, are our youth meetings in Slaný.

What was our last Youth Meeting like?

 
The youth meeting was about surprising people. The boys and girls were asked to bring small gifts that would be distributed during the meeting all the young people as they picked a piece of paper with a number assigned to each gift. Their faces shone with surprise as they received a small gift from an unknown giver. 
During praise and worship time all of us had a chance to release our body for dancing because of Jesus for a while. 
And God also spoke to our hearts and surprised us. Some were surprised by realizing that Jesus intends everyone to have something SUPERNATURAL coming from Him, including those who thought they were left out of the picture. 
Some of us were surprised by tides of His love and mercy surrounding us all, and others more by how this love would compel us to reconsider whether we are doing the right thing with what we already have from Him. 
Putting all together, what we all got was a wonderful time and a real chance to display and, somehow, convey what God really means to us and the extent of our commitment to Him, being on the other hand also challenged in our hearts by the Holy Ghost to do the same in our daily living.
